• Lead author on rbio, a reasoning model for biology that uses world models as soft verifiers — learning from simulations rather than new wet-lab data. Demonstrates strong performance on perturbation prediction (PerturbQA) and shows how compositions of verifiers can yield more general models.
• Lead author on scGenePT, a foundation model for single-cell perturbation prediction integrating gene expression and language modalities; enabled large-scale simulation-based discovery.

National selection spanned chemistry, physics, biology, and geography. Assessed across geology/geophysics, meteorology, oceanography, terrestrial astronomy, and environmental science, including written + practical/field components in the final tasks

Represented Romania at the European Union Science Olympiad, a hands-on interdisciplinary team competition spanning physics, chemistry, and biology. Led the chemistry component of the team’s experimental practical task — Gold Medal
